Irving Kane Pond, Chicago architect, was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan. In 1886 he joined his bother Allen (also a CLC member) to form Pond & Pond. Together they designed Hull House, The Chicago Commons, The Northwestern Settlement and many other civic institutions. He was president of the American Institute of Architects in 1910-11, author of three books, and contributor to architectural journals and The Dial. He was a member of the Club from 1888 to his death in 1939, was President in 1922-23, and presented twenty-six papers, one published. For more information click here.
